I go to college 4 days a week until August, after which I will start placements in different areas of the business, in which I will shadow managers and other employees.
I have learnt lots of new skills since starting. I have completed electrical, electronics, PLC's, hand fitting, and turning modules in the workshop I have also learnt about business environments, CAD, maths, materials, Quality, and mechanical science in my degree days.
I enjoy it a lot, I find the knowledge I am gaining very interesting, and the skills very useful.
So far it has been well organised, the information on what we are doing when has been communicated well, and we have a clear plan for the 4 years. The only section lacking organisation is when we have meetings scheduled in Oxford, as they are late notice and not emailed to us.
I receive a lot of support from my line manager, she is very helpful with any issues I have in the work environment or college.
I have a fair amount of support
I have gained useful information, however I have not been in the workplace much.
There are charity events and newsletter teams which I have helped with. There aren't any sports teams
Yes
I enjoy my role here and think it will be beneficial to my future
Enjoy the assessment centre.
