  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Training in our first year starts at 8am by then we should be sat and ready to start all lessons. Currently we are studying PLC's and the experience has been amazing since I am a mature student I have touched on PLC's but was not confident enough until I came onto the apprenticeship program..

  • Yes I have developed my PLC skills to confident.

  • Very much the support from my lecturer's and managers has been amazing and I look forward to being a very productive and reliable employee after training.

  • Very well structured and ample time to complete our paperwork which can at times be overwhelming.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • BMW were amazing in support and having my basic pay unaffected by the training course has left me feeling appreciated as a student and employee.

  • Amazing lecturer's who love what they do.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Absolutely much needed to have a better understanding of my role and functioning of equipment.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Networking with other apprentices and also the support I get from the senior guys has been pleasant.
