Improved skills within Excel. Improved confidence.
I went into the programme unsure what to expect. Initially applied for finance as that was where my interest was at. I went into this programme unsure what to expect. The course itself from apprenticeship company has been quite disorganised at the beginning and end.
The programme hasn't been structured very well. A lot of unknowns and left in the dark with no true direction unfortunately.
Employer provides a lot of support when needed and when they can. Unfortunate that a lot of stuff learnt in programme doesn't relate to role - colleagues do not know majority of tools and techniques that are learnt.
The beginning of the programme and now the very end have felt very rushed and no support. In the middle I had constant communication and meetings with training provider however, now when things are coming to a close it all seems to have faded away.
Unfortunately in my role I don't think this apprenticeship has benefited me much at all. Everything I do in my role I have learnt purely through work and not the programme. 95% of systems taught are not used in my role or organisation - wasted knowledge and opportunity.
I have no heard of anything like this going on. Not sure if it is more social organising than work involved.
Yes
The company is great. The work can feel rewarding, the people i work with are amazing. The benefits and pay are competitive. Only wish they can move forward and modernise some tools that they use within the business to compete with others.
Be willing to stand out by putting in the effort. Going out of your way to support others in need is highly recognised. Be open to learn new things each day that might put you under pressure at first but will ultimately improve you professionally.
