I enjoy my programme however, I find the workload with University and work to be too much a times. In addition, some placements are more enjoyable than others.
University at a set time on a set date with deadlines for assignments given well in advanced. The other 4 days are set placement days.
We have monthly meetings with our Early Careers Team as well as meetings with our placement managers. Both placement managers and Early Careers Team are on hand.
Most of the university content from my training provided is self led/self study. There could be more input in terms of teaching. In terms of assignments workshops are held to help us plan our assignments/understand what the assignment is.
Both university and placement will have knowledge transfer. I find at time some of the activities at university are not 100% relevant or add to my role but provide context to the topic area.
Yes, there are social activities and stretch assignments available. This is communicated via early careers or our apprentice council.
