I started my Apprentices with Lifetime last September 2024. I know the government announced to AXE the English and Math qualification during Apprenticeship last February 2025. Last week I asked my manager if she can testify to me so that I will be exempted with my English and Math. But my manager told me that HCone still using the old style system that the Apprentices still need to do English and Math qualification . In my situation I work 36 hours a week. This is one my barrier during my apprenticeship.I hope HCOne LTD will follow what the new government implementing to axed Englishand Math. I have long time of experienced .I been working as a Care assistant in HCone for 14 years. I have submitted as well my statement of Comparability about my degree from my country (PH) I just hope I will not doing my English and Math this time. So I can focus my other subjects to do in Adult Care.
Yes definitely.
A lot harder for me because I am working 36 hours a week plus I still to do my English and Math during Apprentices.
