I work on site learning the basics of site engineering and construction management, i undertake tasks such as holo-builder and keeping track of subcontractor works.
Working here has both boosted my confidence and knowledge, I have developed skills in using various engineering tools, such as the dumpy level and the total station.
I have found it quite enjoyable, however I feel as if I could have more tasks to undertake.
Very clear and organised block weeks, alongside events for all apprentices across the business. also with a rotational program to allow us to try different job rolls expanding our knowledge
My employer gives support whenever needed.
My training provider sets out clear assignments and when I am on a block week they are explained well.
My qualification has improved my knowledge on different methods of construction alongside different materials that could be used.
There are occasional networking events
Yes
They have provided a great apprenticeship to me so far.
