Smart metering is a good job and definitely a worthwhile career especially if you enjoy customer interaction.
I have learnt many new skills especially associated with all the gas to pass the qualifications, also some new electrical skills.
Overall I have enjoyed my time as an apprentice.
The organization has been poor although I believe this is because the structure of the apprenticeship changed just before we joined.
