  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Be responsible for the preparation and submission of the corporate tax returns for the UK group using OneSource software; Assist with all related disclosure elements in the corporate tax computations including transfer pricing, interest restriction, loss review, CFC review and capital allowances; Work with the RDEC advisors and assist with the claim; Be responsible for the preparation and review of the Group’s UK subsidiary statutory accounts using OneSource software and assist with any audit queries; Assist with the preparation of the UK tax figures for the consolidated and statutory accounts; Support the Tax Function in managing the Tax strategy for the group, including assisting with SAO reporting; Respond to ad-hoc queries on UK corporate tax matters; Provide corporate tax training to finance and accounting staff; Assist in responding to queries from HMRC; Liaise with external advisors; Maintain the Group structure for the worldwide group; Complete several Office of National Statistics Surveys.

  • Experience in tax and accounting from an advisory firm or a corporate organisation. The ability to proactively manage your workload and work independently Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of people Experience of divisional reporting, Excel, Oracle, HFM and OneSource would be beneficial
