I have been able to pick up a wide variety of new skills related to tech i use day to day such as AWS, Java and also project management skills. Working in this environment has also allowed me to further develop my social skills when speaking to people. I work relatively close with senior developers and clients so communication is probably the most important skill i have been able to develop.
Everything is well organised from an apprentice perspective. I am able to manage both my work life and degree commitments thanks to the structure that university provides and the time that I get from work. However at times, you can become overwhelmed with workloads as sometimes uni and work may not be fully clear about what it is they expect.
IBM offers a wide range of socials and community events both at my local office and online initatives.
