  • I have to delegate jobs to make sure the shift runs as efficiently as possible. I need to keep on top of my area of responsibility making sure I have development conversations with people wherever necessary. I also make sure the policies and theories I read about gets put into practice which allows me to grow my knowledge.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt many news skills through the apprenticeship. Learning the new theories and doing my own research to expand my knowledge and then being able to put them into place. It allows me to keep my knowledge of Aldi’s policies and make sure I follow what I need to.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the programme. Having endless support both within the organisation and outside is the main thing for me. Also having all of the internal policies and theories I can learn and then being able to put them into place practice in the correct way. This has helped me develop

  • My programme is very well structured and the communication between the groups is both amazing. Having all the external applications and having the training in store is the best in allowing me to expand my knowledge.

  • A lot of support is given with my allocated time for every week. This allows me to submit my work when I have to and make sure my knowledge stays the same.

  • My training provider is the absolute best she makes sure I’m well aware of the dates and where I need to work

  • It makes me perform better with my knowledge and relating things back.

  • There aren’t any other than the occasional work workshop.

  • Great place to work, excellent communication, amazing management


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aldi?
  • Make sure you stay up to date with the policies and theories handbook changes and be prepared to graft as Aldi is a graft place. Be sure to keep the standards up with availability.
