  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • The job involves spending 20% of your time studying. This can be through mandatory training or courses that may benefit your career. The other 80% is spent doing hands on work. For me this has involved performing testing at many different levels, E.g. CUT, SIT, NFT etc. And working on multiple projects to diversify your skills.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Could be structured slightly better although no fault of IBM. The only issue I had was that our previous apprenticeship provider could no longer provide for us and so we had to transfer to another provider. This process did take some time however there were no major hiccups once the transfer was complete

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
