  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Really enjoy the on the job project side of the program, I also enjoy large parts of the training modules especially the IBM Run in person courses such as CC2 which are extremely informative and valuable. However some of the training does feel as though it doesn't bring much value and is used as somewhat filler. Maybe this is due to the level of the apprenticeship?

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The program is well organised and structured, as the Individual learning plan which holds all of the off the job training materials, is organised quarterly which creates a time structured plan. The written work such as work situations knowledge pieces are given to us with deadlines which also structures when we work on them.

  • I recieve great amounts of support from the IBM Foundation Team in particular [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] who provides me with endless support in the apprenticeship portfolio side, project work and personal issues. • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Large parts of the training links into my role, courses such as client conversations 2 linked directly into my role from the get go teaching me skills I took into my client calls the very next day. However, some of the training doesn't link straight away however in time i believe it will.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Within the IBM Manchester office there are several social events occurring every week, this includes football to rock climbing. The best social event i have been to so far was the end of year event which brought together 75% of the Manchester office. There is also opportunity for social events in the London office which i have also attended.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to IBM?
