  • - Outreaching intro various businesses across diverse industries - Cold calling, emailing, using LinkedIn to target prospect accounts - Meeting KPI targets that are expected of me to drive progression - Completing my apprentice project work alongside my daily responsibilities - Attending virtual and practical training sessions from training provider and Softcat

  • Absolutely! This role allows you to develop on a huge variety of skill sets that is also transferrable into many areas of your life. For example: communication, adaptability, persuasion, organisational skills, and many more. The biggest perk of this role in my opinion! -

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the programme thoroughly. It has a great balance of ensuring you meet your daily tasks in work at a sufficient level, whilst also ensuring you have a fun time doing so.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is well organised as things are laid out really clearly. There are flexible time lengths in regard to the programme which allows us apprentices to manage our time accordingly.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • At Softcat you receive great support. Everyone wants everyone to do well here. Softcat provides various informative training sessions, time to book in 1-2-1 with seniors, as well general support from your managers, team, etc.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I am satisfied with the support I receive. When support is needed, I am able to receive quick and great feedback. This includes frequent 1-2-1 check ups, able to ask questions at any time, etc

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • This qualification is great for my role as it allows me to better understanding in both sales as well as understanding more of what I am selling. It allows me to try and develop new things which leads to constant growth.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are various activities to get involved in. A few of these include, running clubs, football clubs, charities, and volunteering. In terms of our office, we have a PS5, table tennis court, pool table, Wii, and many more!
