I maintain and update trackers for documents and activities. I assess and monitor programs. I engage in meetings with both internal and external stakeholders, where I also present information. I conduct reviews of drawings. I identify and report health and safety concerns. Additionally, I utilise 3D modelling tools.
I have developed my project management skills. Also I learned to research, collect, select and evaluate technical literature and other sources of data and information to address, analyse and evaluate civil engineering problems.
I am really enjoying it. Compared to other apprenticeship programmes I have been on the structure at Vinci Construction is good with the ability to rotate within the company and project to different roles for greater exposure.
It is very well structured, with relevant tasks and activities provided. The leadership team highlights the importance of the apprenticeship programme to all members of staff.
I receive a lot of positive and constructive support from my employer.
They facilitate study leave and a lot of colleagues provide help with tasks.
I have been able to implement skills I have learned from my training provider like creating a programme of activities. My studies have helped to prioritise tasks at work.
We have regular football matches and team social events. I regularly help with careers events for students.
