  • I work as a commodity trader, daily this involved submitting trades, conducting research and communicating with the sales teams.

  • I have learnt lots of skills in excel and other microsoft software as well as coding skills such as python.

  • I enjoy my role a lot, it is a pleasure to work for GS.

  • There are regular meetings with HR/Managers/Sponsors of the programme and there is ample structuring in place.

  • The employer is incredibly supportive with the development of my skills.

  • The training provider is perfectly supportive of our qualification goals, this includes recently sitting FCA exams.

  • The University qualification is very well adapted to help improve my on the job performance in my role. This includes a significant work-based module.

  • There are many societies and sports clubs which are freely available to all employees.

  • It is at the forefront of modern day investment banking, you are surrounded by highly skilled professionals and everyone is incredibly welcoming and friendly.

  • Study hard and do well in school exams, have a good understanding of the current financial system.
