My role is being a Project Manager as well as performing activities such as audits for the company's ERP system. The projects I am involved in are based around business system and digital change.
Yes I have learnt and developed many skills such as presenting, communicating and digital skills such as the use of new Microsoft apps (e.g. Excel and Visio).
I am thoroughly enjoying the programme because I can see how it is benefitting me in my job and I am learning new things in each webinar.
Very well organised, we are provided with a timeline for each lesson over the course of the entire apprenticeship as well as a study pack at the start of each block.
I receive a huge amount of support from my manager because we catch up everyday - he sets me tasks and he lets me lead on project meetings each week.
So far I have had feedback on the delivery of my presentation which was very helpful however I'm not far enough into my apprenticeship to receive support for the exams yet.
I feel that it greatly helps me because every lesson that I attend can be applied to my job role.
I am a part of an Early Careers Programme from VolkerWessels where I go down once every few months and attend lessons given by apprenticeship people which are great experiences.
Yes
I have only had positive experiences so far, my team are very supportive and are always happy to help and I can see that there are many opportunities for the future.
I would say to appear confident and self-assured whilst also being genuine. I would also say to not be nervous because it is a very welcoming environment.
