My main role is to ensure all staff are correctly trained and prepared to follow all procedures put in place and to provide corrective coaching. On a day to day basis it requires me to provide support to my crew and ensure all procedures are followed correctlyz
I have developed and learnt new skills such as people management, problem solving, effective communication and management along with improving my time managemen, personal communication and quick decision management.
I very much enjoyed every step as I was able to learn so much that I didn’t realise that was actually needed.
Personally I think it was very well organised and structured.
I got a lot of support from my employer ranging from how to check the sales and figures from a day to day basis to effectively help run a shift during peak hours.
I received a lot of support in areas I did not fully understand and would go out of their way to provide information that was not available at the time.
I feel that having the knowledge and experience I gained from the course improves my ability to perform 4x better within my role whilst on the shop floor.
Yes, every now and then, my employer would hold events for the crew to say a thank you for all the hard work.
Yes
At first people believe that McDonalds is a job that you go to if you fail your GCSE’s but actually you gain so much from the business and are able to develop skills you may not know you had.
Always ask questions if you not sure about something, don’t be scared to ask, I was scared at first but once I realised the potential at what you can do and learn, I started to ask questions and at this current time I’m training to be a shift manager. This would have never come to be if I didn’t ask questions.
