What I do in this role is be the first point of contact for customers via webchat. I would be helping customers with their queries and complaints they have and make sure they are satisfied. I would also have training sessions every now and then to help upskill us.
I have improved my professionalism whilst working here and also improved my IT skills as I am using a laptop daily to work. I have also improved on my English vocabulary as I have to speak in a professional manner with the customers.
I have been enjoying the apprenticeship so far and I believe I will continue to enjoy it until the very end.
The apprenticeship programme is very well structured as we have set days to work on the apprenticeship side of the role and there are deadlines where we have to meet so I would say it is well organised.
I receive a lot of support from my manager as we have 1 to 1 sessions every week and we discuss what I need to improve on and any further training if needed
I receive support from them as they are always reachable, whenever I have a question I can easily reach out to them however, some of the tasks that are set for us does not have enough information on what to do on them and we do get given loads of work for very short headlines
I feel like the qualification would not be very helpful towards the role as for a customer service role you can get a job in this role anywhere with a bit of training. I think doing a whole apprenticeship for it is useless as you cant go further after this level 3.
In the workplace we have loads of social activities taking place every other week and a lot of events so it is good to socialise and network with other people in the business
Yes
Overall, it is a good company to work in. They have loads of benefits that you can use as an employee and it is very inclusive and good to progress your career
To just be yourself and to enjoy the process
