  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • As a digital marketer my job responsibilities consists of looking after reviews and social media platforms, e.g. Instagram and Tik tok. Elise with dealerships and work alongside our sales team to get a better insight to the system. Lastly I shadow PR structures to understand that side of marketing.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, how to use many different software platforms, Illustrator, photoshop and meta business suit. Being able to develop my photography and graphic skills has been a bonus.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme a lot, even though the life balance is difficult to manage sometimes, the personal and professional development is clearly shown and I am given multiple opportunities to represent my skills and knowledge and even passion for the industry.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • To a good standard, I know when I attend University or my study days etc. Working hours are very flexible to can support me with my degree where necessary. However, I am limited to when I can take my 6 hours to focus on University every week due to only having certain tasks allowed within this period.

  • I receive a healthy amount of support, they have given me or will provide me with any resources I may need and are very understandable when I feel overwhelmed.

  • Even more so than needed, I have a academic mentor within work and at the University with clear contact details.

  • I am able to learn basic knowledge and how to navigate a business at University and put that into my job role.

  • yes, I have visited many different colleges/sixth forms for open days, Brighton SEO, Team days out to Alton Towers and Chocolate workshops.

  • They bring so many opportunities to have better connections with the working world and help me develop my confidence and any other personal issues I may have suffered with before joining the business.
