  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have thoroughly enjoyed my degree apprenticeship. I completed 2 years at a previous employer and have completed my 3rd and 4th years at VolkerWessels UK. They have provided me many fantastic opportunities to develop and learn, which has greatly supported me in my degree apprenticeship too.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is very well structured. It insists and ensures that 20% of my time is spent off the job, allowing me time to focus on university assignments as well as new learning opportunities outside of my day-to-day role.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has developed my knowledge of, and skills in, strategy, ethical leadership, project management and human resource management to name a few, allowing me to effectively perform in my role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There have been a few I have seen (such as charity walks/events), however I have not seen too many opportunities for this throughout my time at the business and while on the degree course. This is something however I would be interested in to develop my connections in-house.
