My role involves stakeholder engagement to create social value opportunities to meet our targets and align with our social value strategy such as, community engagement, charitable donations, volunteering school engagement and managing social value projects/initiatives e.g. physical challenge fundraiser
Yes- project management, stakeholder relationship management and communication, IT skills
I enjoy the programme because we learn a whole range of things and i get to talk to other people on the programme and hear their experiences and ideas
I think the programme is well organised and we have regular check ins with our tutor for support, we also have progress reviews every 2-3 months to see how we are progressing
I recieve a good amount of support from my employer with completing my programme
Alot of support is given when needed
I believe it helps me understand how and why things should be done in a certain way so yes it helps me do my role well
We don't have any 'clubs' or 'social groups' but we do have a summer and christmas party every year for social events- we are also holding office lunches more regularly
Yes
VolkerWessels offers lots of support to their early careers cohort, they have 2 programmes for individuals carrying out apprenticeships
