Project Engineer delivering Overhead Line Construction works on the UK Railway infrastructure.
Improved mathematical reasoning and skills, greater understanding of other disciplines beyond my own area of expertise.
Enjoying the programme and the opportunity to develop my own academic understanding of numerous engineering concepts.
Previous modules have been excellent, current module is often chaotic with lecturers not showing up or last minute timetable changes. This is especially frustrating when work has to be organised around university studies to ensure the two do not adversely impact each other,
I am given plenty of support to attend university and exposure to various work activities to enable me to record my development in line with the Apprenticeship standard and the relevant KSB's.
I have had adequate support from the University and instructors have been very good in providing additional drop in sessions to help.
The attainment of this qualification will be crucial to my development within both my current employer and the industry as a whole,
Volunteering opportunities are available through my employer along with numerous social activities and charity campaigns.
