  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Supporting clients on both service queries and product management. Work ewith relationship manager to research prospect clients and keep up to date with existing clients. Work with a variety of teams across the bank to provide a one bank approach for our clients.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have signifcantly developed my critical thinking skills, i am able to confidently and effectively provide solutions to problems. My confidence has also significantly grown, I am able to present in team meetings, speak with clients and engage with senior colleagues.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am deeply enjoying my programme, it has given me a variety of opportunities to meet clients, senior staff and key teams. I have learnt both acedemic and practical skills, my learning and day job go hand in hand which allow me to develop quickly.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is well organised, however there have been times where I have had to reach out for clarification. Although, I have been supported once reaching out. I can see my learning path and know what I will be completing in each stage.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have recieved a lot of support from my employer, I am given time to complete any self development learning i wish to complete. I am also encouraged to take part in off the desk activites to get my name out their and build a strong self brand.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I recieve a great amount of support from my employer, tutor and coach. I am always supported if i need extra guidence, they take time to help me develop and ensure I fully understand what is being asked of me.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel more confident with the knowledge I am learning from my qualification. I am able to apply the learning to my daily role, I can bring snipets of knowledge into discussions.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I have attended a variety of networking events, team socials and also taken part in a variety of charity events.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • The sheer amount of opportunities that LBG offer colleagues was a key motivating factor for applying. Being able to help drive the 'Helping Britain Prosper' vision through volunteering opportunities and sustainability projects was really exciting to hear about.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group?
  • Be bold, be yourself. LBG foster a positive culture and going in with a growth mindset will ensure that you can take every opportunity and develop as an individual
