My role is Instrumentation Control and Automation Engineer Apprentice - Level 3. My jobs role are related to PLCs and SCADA system, communication network systems, instrumentation including flow, level, pressure.
Yes, I have learnt a lot of electrical and electronic engineering as well as PLC programme knowledge.
I can learn and receive training towards Level 3 qualification, also you get paid.
We have training at College every week and off-training at site.
My mentor teaches and trains me all the time. My manager always encourage me to learn, and the teachers at college are very kind and helpful.
They provide lectures in electrical/electronic engineering and bench fitting class at workshop.
I hope I can apply what I learnt from college in our job role.
