My role involves taking pieces of metal and turning them into specific items following an engineering drawing, along with this I also do things such as using Mills and lathes and learn mechanical assembly
I have learnt some skills however before this job i did a year in college anyways meaning a lot of my skills already had been given to me
I enjoy it quite a lot, however there could definitely be a lot more done especially with the college section of the apprenticeship
The programme is not fully organised and could do with a lot more planning and preparation put into place, this is mainly due to the college
A mixed amount
I feel like it gives me the knowledge I need to know
Yes
Because it offers many opportunities not just as a job but to the community of barrow as well
Be brave, do your best and ensure you do all the interview tasks given to you and etc in time
