  • Investigation serious organised crime in benefit fraud, preparing cases for disruption or prosecution, working with external organisations to achieve goals and stop benefit fraud.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme is relevant to my current role, and I heavily rely on it for knowledge that helps me build the relevant skills in my role. It helps me understand my role and better.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Good structure. However, certain things should be taught at the beginning- like case preparation and all the preliminary things needed. I made some mistakes at work because I was told the wrong thing, then later learnt how to do the right thing in the apprenticeship.

  • My employer is very supportive. They allow me the needed time for the programme and help with every developmental needs.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have been given the necessary packages and my assessor is ever ready to offer the needed support. If he has no answers, he will take it away and come back with the response as soon as possible.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It gives me the required knowledge and teaches me the skills needed in my role. It has broadened my understanding of my role.

  • Not much at the moment. I work full time and I am a single mother so I have my hand full.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I have found the work-life balance that I need and in spite of my numerous personal challenges, I can fit well in this environment without feeling overwhelmed all the time. The hybrid work helps people like me.

  • You've got an opportunity so don't limit yourself! Be confident and give it your best shot. You will have plenty of support to help you develop.
