On a day to day basis I will be out on site setting out and surveying for any construction works, I look at the quality and control of the job. I frequently shadow a more senior engineer to be comfortable on the task before I do it independently.
I have learnt many new skills, I came from a school background with no engineering knowledge and in just 2 years I have been supported with my learning and have had the opportunity to attend a wide range of courses to whatever i need.
I highly enjoy the programme it is fun and rewarding whilst also being able to learn on the job.
Very well organised, I have frequent reviews between my university and my workplace and any issues I've ever had my work have been very quick to support me.
My employer is very supportive, any training I believe I would benefit from I have received and any issues they always help to resolve them quickly.
My training provider is quite supportive, there have been some miscommunications and issues regaridng changing the course mid way.
My learning at university definitely helps me at work, my modules align with work I'm doing out on site at work as well as in the office.
Yes, I have had the opportunity to attend different events such as networking at head office with other apprentices and meals out with early careers cohort. We have had charity football matches and other events
Yes
They have been very supportive with all my work so far, I feel appreciated and seen by my colleagues rather than just being forgotten about. It is a fun job and everyone is very close and friendly.
