I love my role and the trust my team has put in me since the very beginning! I am responsible for managing several artwork projects for the Beauty and Wellbeing & Personal Care business groups and I communicate with different external and internal stakeholders on a daily basis to ensure the projects get delivered on time and in full. I have learnt a lot about teamwork, organisation and communication and design! I have also collaborated with other functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Artwork Excellence, R&D, Supply Chain) and been responsible for ensuring the data we manage is accurate and complete. I have also had the opportunity to attend several workshops and to participate in a wide range of Unilever events such as Dove Day, a VR day at the office, a Jewellery-making Workshop, The Great Walk etc... Thus, I highly recommend Unilever! :)
I have learnt/developed several new skills including project management (e.g. organisation, prioritisation), teamwork, communication with stakeholders and data analysis skills.
I love it!
The programme is very well-structured. We usually have an online workshop once a month followed up with a Group Mentoring session with our coach. We also have to complete one project each month but the workload is very manageable!
We receive a lot of support from everyone at Unilever (e.g. Future Careers team, Line Manager, your team and other people) and from Manpower and Multiverse.
We receive a lot of support from Multiverse. We have a monthly workshop and a group coaching session with our coaches and they also provide us with lots of useful resources and personalised support (e.g. personalised tutoring sessions) if needed.
The modules related to project management have been especially very useful to me as I have managed to apply everything I am currently learning as part of my apprenticeship programme to my role.
Yes, there are several opportunities to get involved at Unilever! There are Development teams you can collaborate with (e.g. Onboarding, Outreach, Community&Wellbeing, Learning etc...) and Communities and Networks you can join (e.g. Unity, Proud, Enable, Carers). You can also participate in several events including The Great Walk, Dove Day, VR Days, Quizzes etc...!
