    • I work in the Tax Investigations team, meaning I represent clients and deal with HMRC investigations/compliance checks. On a day to day basis, this involves drafting letters and Reports, preparing tax computations, and corresponding with HMRC and clients.

    • Yes, I learnt a lot of new skills, including communication with clients/HMRC, and also with my colleagues. I have also learnt how to draft compelling letters and Reports.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

    • We receive a large amount of support from our employer, and can always reach out should we have any questions/concerns about our training programme. There are also quarterly Forum meetings which allow us to regularly provide feedback, which is truly listened to.

    • Tolley always provides support with our studies.

    • Yes, there are regular firmwide socials, team socials, trainee socials, and I am also a member of the firm netball team.

    • Yes

    • It is an enjoyable place to work; we all work in the same building; it is very social and trainees are well supported throughout their training contracts.

    • I would recommend that they research Buzzacott as a firm and also the training contract/exams.
