I'm a machinists which basically means I operate machines to turn and or cut material to very tight tolerances
I'm constantly developing my skills when it comes to machining with my turning skill and or developing my new skills on mills
I really enjoy the course although the college is lacking on the equipment side it's still really good
It's good there's just a lack of communication
There's plenty of support from my employer
I believe this is where the course lacks it no fault of the company or the tutors at the training provider it's just a lack of equipment and tutors
It's a 50/50 split some of the training feels completely pointless where as other parts you know are essential
We did outward bound which was a really good team building course where we learned about the company's behaviours in an interactive place
Yes
It's a really good apprenticeship your just have to get through the training provider and it's smooth sailing from there
Honestly just take your time and make sure you have all your qualifications in order before hand
