My role varies across the 18 months depending on where the extra resource is needed. I have helped on a variety of projects and most recently am helping to improve our relationships with our suppliers by reviewing the current payment process to ensure that they are paid within the agreed deadlines. I have helped with managing and organizing the results of the quarterly customer surveys, being in the Workplace department we aim to provide the employees with the best surroundings and equipment. On a day to day basis i do admin tasks and have regular contact with the managers. Its difficult to state what i do on a day to day basis as it varies.
Have learnt a lot about how to manage heavy workloads and how to handle a, sometimes, stressful workplace. At the end of this course i will have a BTEC Level 3 Combined Diploma in Business Administration.
Have be welcomed into a very friendly and supportive team and really like the flexibility of the agile working and non-assigned seating arrangements. Means you can work in a way that best suits you. Sometimes work can be quiet but its easy to find more when you want it.
Feel valued by my manager and the team members i have worked with, i am able to help them do work that they do not have the time for as well as bringing in new suggestions.
Has been managed very well, making sure to not only complete the units of my coursework but my manager makes sure that i do not do the same tasks all the time. I am asked what i am interested in doing so that if possible i can work on that, working with
I have a meeting with my assessor roughly every 6 weeks to ensure that i am on track with my coursework and possible units i could do. Every month an overview of my progress is sent out for her, my manager and myself to comment of my progress so far.
I have weekly 121 meetings with my Line Manager. Here we can discuss any issues im having, questions, be set more work or even be advised about possible training possibilities.
I live with my parents so luckily don't have too many living costs to pay but i would say that its a good salary. Able to save whilst still managing to have a decent social life and pay any car/travel expenses.
There are regular training courses that are offered in order to improve different aspects about how you work. I have been to the odd conference in London and am made aware of different opportunities outside of work if id like them.
