My role at the moment is in Furness college doing a machinist course doing theory work and machining work.
I have developed my lathe and hand fitting work, I have also learnt how to interpret engineering drawings and draw them. I have been learning how to draw using CAD.
I enjoy my program a lot
Our program isn’t organized to the fullest as we receive knowledge late and just before it’s going to happen or after the exercise has been done like receiving write up work months after doing the practical side.
I receive a lot of support from my employer as we have a review every 12 weeks
I receive just the about the same amount of support from my training provider
Teaching me how to do all of the things we need to do
