Through both my workplace and degree, I have learnt both SQL and Python. I am more proficient using excel, power point and other Microsoft tools. I have been taught how to analyse, visualise and storytell data
The degree is very full on, however I love my work and workplace. My colleagues have made the whole experience incredible.
We have been given the full three years of our timetable, however when it comes to events such as the bootcamp and induction to year three, we have not been given the details until short notice. This causes complications when arranging travel and organising my work diary.
My manager and senior manager have gone above and beyond to support me in my degree and development. My winder team have also helped me on elements such as Python and SQL.
My success manager does not seem to have all of the information to hand and I feel like he has not looked at my notes prior to our apprenticeship reviews.
I have been able to use the majority of the aspects of my degree within my workplace. There have also been events at work that have aligned with my modules, which has helped when I am writing my summatives.
My workplace has a number of sporting clubs and gaming clubs. Due to my uni workload, I have been unable to join in with the games night each month, however I aim to join more of the sports clubs when they run in the summer.
Yes
They have been an incredibly supportive workplace during my degree. When there have been suitable conferences, I am encouraged to attend. Due to the size of the organisation, I am able to learn many different aspects of the business and speak to colleagues who have diverse skill sets.
