I am an Audit Associate in the Charity and Not-for-Profit team, undertaking a wide variety of tasks from accounts preparation to statutory audit. I work on a wide variety of clients across the year. These include, but are not limited to: religious clients, further education and academy clients, grant giving charities, and well known larger charities.
I have developed a great deal since starting my apprenticeship at Buzzacott. I came to Buzzacott with no prior accounting knowledge and I was given all the training I needed to become an able accountant. Not only have I developed technically, but also my client skills have grown through frequent contact with clients.
I enjoy the ACA graduate programme - there is a balance between work and training which means that I always feel actively challenged. Buzzacott also has a thriving social environment, with a wide variety of staff networks and organised events throughout the calendar year.
The programme is well organised - I was made aware of all deadlines and dates for my study from the beginning of my apprenticeship.
I feel well supported in my role as an Audit Associate
The training providers are great at providing the right support to pass the exams and develop technical knowledge
The ACA qualification is vital in my role as an Audit Associate. Having a thorough understanding of the technicality of accounting is highly important in undertaking audits, particularly as I move through the apprenticeship
There are a number of extra curricular activities at Buzzacott - I would say there is not a week that goes by without something in my calendar
Yes
Buzzacott is a busy and growing environment and I think it is a great place to start your career
Be yourself!
