I am a people manager for our apprentices in Sales and day to day I motivate, coach and support 15 guides through their apprenticeship. Day to day we talk to hundreds of customers and my role is to make sure we do that right, while putting our customers at the heart of everything we do!
I have learnt to have a lot of patience and it has been great to see the ways in which different people work and learn. I have learnt to communicate in a way that everyone understands.
I love seeing my people learn and the genuine enjoyment they gain through learning and supporting each other. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] is my skills coach/learner coach and he is incredible! He supports my team in what they need to do and makes them all feel like they can do it!
Very well. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] is consistent with his visits to site, and his check in/reviews with my team. He is always on hand for any questions or concerns and makes sure everyone knows where they are and what they need to be doing to be sucessful.
As a people manager of apprentices, I can genuinely say EE is passionate about getting young people into work and ensuring they are successful. There are many incentives and perks to the job that make it attractive to young people and we are powered with the tools to be able to support our people well.
My team have regular check in sessions with [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] from Babington, along side that [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] is contactable for questions on the programme/BUD work. No question is a silly question, and [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] does that well. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] has the patience of a saint in the way he explains things and he gets the job done! From a TL perspective [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] is keen to know more about what we do to better support the team and is there for me if i have any questions or concerns.
It gives people the knowledge of the business and our customers to the next level. They learn all about the business and the way in which we do things which in turn allows them to work better. They have a strong understanding of the things we do but also the reasons behind them which ensures our customers are at the heart of what we do.
We often have events at work to encourage team bonding and supporting local charities. We are given 3 volunteer days yearly (paid) to encourage us to give back to our community. We always have things on site to support local businesses and charities too. There is always something going on that we can get involved with, while having fun too!
