Service Management Apprentice. Currently working in the SharePoint team and I am responsibile for dealing with incidents and work orders. Have to interact with customers on the phone and face to face and get guidance from colleagues.
I have undergone my ITIL foundation qualification externally and inteally have undergone a valuing people course. My communication skills have improved along with me becoming more accountable for my own learning and development.
So far I have really enjoyed the apprenticeship. The team are very friendly and always willing to help. It has exceeded my expections as I recieve a constant work load.
I have had a lot of recognition and appraisal from my placement manager and the apprentice manager. I have been welcomed and made apart of the team.
I recieved a full induction week which was benefical and sent on a sharepoint and valuing people course. I have to complete an NVQ which relies on evidence from my work experiences.
I have a mentor in which I can meet with regualrly to discuss how im finding TFL and I can meet with the apprentice manager to discuss placement and apprentice related tasks.
My manager conducts regualr meetings with me to ensure I am coping fine with eveything as does my mentor. The team have weekly meetings in which I am included in.
Yes, I have enough money to pay for living, daily and social expenses.
