Day to day running of a shift, managing stock, delegating, upholding CQSMA standards and making sure everyone else does. Follow all standard operating procedures and making sure everyone else does. Cash management.
Developed a deeper understanding of the law around alcohol and trading and supporting staff members. How to take care of real ale.
I enjoyed the programmed sometimes struggled with keeping up with tasks.
Very organised but felt there was little support from mentors at the time and wish they kept you in check more.
I have gained new skills that after a year of learning I still use and pass on to other members of the team.
