Meet and great customers, take them on a customer journey to create their dream kitchen. Sit with them and do a design based on the items they require. Once all approved, make sure that the delivery runs smoothly and they receive everything that they ordered. Confirm after a month that everything was put together correctly and that they are happy with their kitchen.
During my apprenticeship I have learned a lot about myself and how I should change depening on certain things going on within the branch. I have also learned how to change my learning style and leadership style depending on the situation.
I enjoy my programme, it really shows different ways of doing certain things and get you to think about others and other ways of doing the same thing, which is an eye opener.
I have found nothing wrong with the stucture of my programme. Although it would have been nice to be able to meet in a classroom and meet the other students.
I have found that my employer supports and even helps where they can. Obviously my job has to come first but are more than willing to give you extra time to study if you need it and if your not as busy within the branch.
My training provider has been amazing. They are always there to help when they can. They listen and try to help you understand better, but they also do it in a way that you have to think about the task at hand as they will not give you the answer.
In the role I am in now it helps a little but I have completed my programme to help me get into a much better position where the skills can be used better.
Unfortunetly we do not hold and social activities that often. We do have manager meetings where we all get together but no sports or social events. We did a couple of years ago but these stopped becuase of cost.
Yes
I believe Benchmarx is a great company to work for and they really do try and help you progress in your career.
Be honest, be yourself, do your homework. Even if you do not have experience does not mean they will not hire you. As long as you are willing to learn and can speak to customer face to face and over the phone you will be great.
