  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • In my role within the Learning department of People & Places at LBG (HR), I am responsible for creating and updating learning materials for colleagues across the business. My focus is on ensuring these materials are well-designed, accurate, engaging, and aligned with LBG branding. On a day-to-day basis, I gather information and provide updates through calls with stakeholders, collaborate with colleagues to develop and review content, and participate in weekly team meetings. Additionally, I dedicate time to my own learning and apprenticeship, which includes calls with a tutor, writing assignments, and researching the latest topics.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive so much support from my employer. This is the 2nd apprenticeship I've completed whilst working for LBG. We have a dedicated apprenticeship team that is always available and more than happy to answer any questions. They also run a weekly drop-in Q&A session. My line manager has been incredibly supportive, scheduling monthly calls to focus on my progress with the apprenticeship. They look for ways I can gain more experience and knowledge, which helps me when writing assignments and demonstrating my skills and behaviours.
