- Look at what I am doing for the week on the rota - Have a team meeting at a set time of 9:15 to 9:45 - Proceed to complete as much work as possible throughout the day - Answer the phones from suppliers or call suppliers for bank details
- Working in a bigger working environment is definitely skill developed and work within a small team - Pay invoices, set up suppliers, check payment runs and send to required people, send remittances, set up suppliers and add bank details, call suppliers to confirm bank details, print cheques and manual cheques
I enjoy the programme I am doing as I am learning many processes whilst working at Motability Operations. Meeting new people and making friends is a big part of how well I enjoy the programme also. Overtime, my skill and experience within the job is progressing and is enjoyable.
I would say that the organisation of the programme is good between working at Motability Operations and going to SGS college in Filton. I am learning many things within both aspects of the programme with working and being in college doing the work and revision needed.
I have an amazing amount of support from everyone if help is needed, whether it is from someone in my team or someone else from another team. Everyone in Motability Operations is really helpful with any questions or queries I may have and are always happy to help.
When in college, if there is any questions asked or if I need more help to understand something more clearly, my training provider is always more than happy to take the time and help go through anything that I or any other classmate needs help with.
As of yet within the qualification, I wouldn't say a mass of the work has been able to help me perform better in my role as obviously I am towards the start of the programme. But as time goes on I feel that this will increase my performances.
Yes there are multiple extra-curricular activities that we are able to get involved in. For example, on Wednesday (19/03/25), we had a team building session and have a chance to meet and talk to people we usually wouldn't see and we went to this venue to cook.
Yes
I would 100% recommend Motability Operations to a friend because the environment is really friendly, everyone is good to talk to and you can get on well with everyone, if you need any help with anything there will always be someone to offer the help you may need.
The tips or advice that I would give to others that apply to Motability Operations, would to not be nervous or not feel the need to ask too many questions about anything that you may not be so sure with. I was told to ask as many questions to understand things better, which I did and it's better to be sure of something rather than still question things.
