Provide excellent customer service on POS or on the shop floor. Complete waste and date checks, manage and lead a team
I have learnt and am still learning how to lead my team better. Developing time management
I do enjoy it however I find it gets a bit repetitive and can lead to lack of motivation
Lifetime training do provide a structured and well organised programme however, managers at Aldi need to understand how to support their apprentices more instead of expecting the apprentice to know. It’s the blind leading the blind
I do receive support but it could definitely be improved. They should do more check in and not expect the apprentice to come to them all the time
I receive a lot of support from my training provider, they help whenever needed. Currently meet up with my training provider every 2 weeks to ensure I stay on track
It has helped me gain a better understanding of how to manage a team successfully and understand the different parts in the role

After working at a few, the environment still ends up being the same
Work hard to prove yourself so you don’t end up on a till or self checkout all the time
