First part of the apprenticeship is full time at furness college, this consists of Bae behaviours, workshop doing domestic electrical installation, quality control, communications, panel wiring
I have learned how to test electrical equipment. I have learned how to read and relate to an on site guide. I have developed communication skills
I enjoy the electrical side of the course, however I do not like being full time at Furness college
It is common to be in lessons at college when there is not any tutors to teach, this causes me to become behind on some of the work that is required
I receive more than enough support from my employer, they are very good at helping their employees in any way that they can
I do not receive as much support from the college as I receive from my employer
I feel as though I have learned skills that I will be able to take with me through my career through the college workshops
I do not get involved with any of the above
Yes
Because they look after their employees very well, the pay is good and the hours are good
Ensure that you know the importance of being punctual and that you know the importance of health and safety in the workplace
