  • My role covers the below - Facilitating on-boarding of new recruits - Overtime for Payroll - General Inbox queries - HR related Phone calls - Use of HRIS system - adding new starters to HRIS -Sending new starter contracts - Tracking probation outcomes - Visas and Sharecodes

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes my skills on Excel have grown massively as well as my ability to collect and source data. My communication skills have developed as i speak with all areas across the business form different locations.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am fairly new to my programme but i enjoy learning in more depth about the legislation and fundamentals that make up HR, it has allowed me to understand more about my role and its impact.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The course is very well structured and well delivered, I have found it easy to digest even though i'm learning something very new to me. The modules are delivered in sections which allow ample time for questions and completion.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employers are incredibly supportive and are they to help with any questions or additional support that i have asked for help with. They allocate time out of my week for me to learn and develop new skills for my off the job hours and have been flexible with me being able to attend college one afternoon a week .

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My tutor and my assessor are both on hand to help with any queries, they are easy to reach and offer to explain things as many tines as needed to ensure that I've understood the assignment fully. We also have a class teams channel where my tutor and other classmates can help answer any questions.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification is allowing me to understand more about the why and how HR Practices tie into my organisation specifically as each business will have their own impacts and external factors they face so its helped me to understand more about the organisation I work for.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, there are annual volunteering days, regular social activities such as a MO board game club which i'm part of and we hold benefit webinars and road show days where i have been able to volunteer and help employees get to know more about our benefits providers.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It is an incredibly supportive and inclusive organisations. Everybody there is friendly and approachable and MO offer so many opportunities and tools to help you grow and develop yourself in your career. Whether that be developing in your current role or moving to a new role within the bushiness.

  • To have an understanding of Motability Operations and its purpose and key values.
