my role is an electrical apprentice and i do full time at college where i do practise assessments for different circuits and learn in detail about everything that is needed for the apprenticeship.
during the behaviours sessions i have learned about what each one is and how to show it and outward bound allowed me to develop most of these skills
i really enjoy this apprenticeship because it has a lot to offer
it is mostly organised however furness college is low on staff therefore sometimes we don’t have tutors for specific units or lessons
a lot of support is received
lots of support even though sometimes we don’t have a tutor, we get a lot of help and support from the ones we do have to work towards our exams
it helps us understand how to be more safe throughout the training that we do such as working at heights so throughout the apprenticeship we are less likely to be injured
yes you can such as stem ambassador
Yes
because there is lots of different opportunities within this business and you can leave with good qualifications and it is also a job for life
work hard throughout the apprenticeship, take opportunities and enjoy it
