I am currently just learning basic electrical skills at furness college as well as doing class work to gain a better understanding of my role
Yes I have learnt a lot since starting as I had no previous electrical skills and I joined the company straight from school.
I would say I enjoy the apprenticeship and have fun and still learn in work.
In college I would say the apprenticeship hasn’t been the best structured since starting and had inconsistent teaching.
From my employer I have a lot of support. Have meetings often to see how the apprenticeship is going and how we are doing as employees.
We receive some support from the training provider.
I think the practical side of work is good and the training provider helps getting us to our qualification standard.
So far I have participated in one extra curricular activities which was outward bound that was very enjoyable and I think they’re are more extra curricular activities to be apart of.
Yes
It is a very good and professional company that gives you lots of opportunity.
