Working in my team. We start every day with a stand up to update one another on our progress working on "tickets". We work in pairs, programming to build new features, maintain existing features and fix bugs regularly.
I am continually learning and developing my skills as a software engineer, specifically in learning a completely new language, Java, and in how the coding fundamentals I have learnt apply to a real life business context.
I am really enjoying the programme. I feel well supported by my team and it is a very welcoming place to work. It has been a great challenge so far.
The programme is well structured and organised, although there is a degree of flexibility due to how the work varies.
My employer has been very supportive. I have had many meetings with people from different areas of the business which has helped give me a greater understanding of the wider business context of my work. Within my team, I have regular catch ups with my tech lead, scrum master and buddy.
We have regular meetings and all of the coaches at Multiverse have been very kind and supportive.
The qualification and course has helped give a strong basis to perform better in my role.
I have joined a work hiking group and we did a very snowy walk in Wales last month - which was great. We have another hike planned for next month. I have joined for our socials which has also been really nice.
Yes
It's a great place to work. People are really friendly and it's a really supportive environment. There seems to be a lot of internal opportunities to progress your career in the direction you want to. The work we do is also really important which is motivating.
Research the company and find out if it would be the right place for you. Do it! It's a great place to learn and grow and people are really nice!
