I am responsible for the Environmental, Social Governance (ESG) reporting at Klipboard and programme managing the Corporate Responsibility strategy across the business.
Throughout the first 6 months of my apprenticeship I have developed a wealth of new skills relevant to my role specifically around programme/project management and stakeholder engagement. I have also developed my existing data handling and presentation skills.
I am really enjoying this programme and returning to formal education after over a decade. The live sessions are very engaging and well structured, particularly working towards completing the Carbon Literacy Certification, a key component of sustainability training.
The programme is very engaging, with weekly virtual learning sessions delivered by a range of experts across Man Met business school. The quarterly in person contact days are an excellent opportunity to network with fellow students from across a range of industries and businesses.
Klipboard have very effectively supported my progress throughout my apprenticeship to date. I am given opportunities to evidence that I am making progress towards the knowledge skills and behaviours required, with clear understanding of the importance of regular off the job time to study towards this qualification.
The training provider give clear guidance on how to meet the Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours required for completing the apprenticeship. The regular review meetings are well structured, setting SMART targets to build my portfolio of evidence.
Studying towards this qualification has enabled me to be more effective in my role, improving my stakeholder management, project management and understanding of time and resource budgeting.
There are periodic social events at KCS including Active April
