Ensuring timely payments of customer debts, assisting with customer queries and consulting with relevant departments to solve issues. I allocate the cash each morning. Escalating accounts when needed. Reporting on 90 day debts weekly to higher management.
I have learnt how to allocate cash. I have also learnt the importance of collecting the cash and the effect it can have on cash flow if not collected on time. I have developed my Excel skills.
I really enjoyed the programme as I developed a big understanding of how finance impacts a business. I enjoyed learning new skills which I apply to my job every day. I also enjoyed working along side what I was learning in my course.
My programme was very well structured. I attended college once a week and then worked the other days. I was given time to work and study when I needed, and had a clear path of what I was working towards. I also knew who to go to if I needed support.
My employer gave me lots of support throughout my programme. My employer arranged for extra assistance from my colleagues who have also studied the same course.
My training provider offered me support when working towards my qualifications. I understood who I needed to contact when I needed help in different areas of my qualifications. My training provider was able to offer me extra practise questions in areas I was struggling with.
My qualification gives me a better understanding on my role and I am now able to apply my skills learnt in my qualification to my role.
We have many extra-curricular events that are held at my work. For example, we often have social activities, like coffee mornings and celebrating worldwide events. I have also had the opportunity to attend college career days to support students moving to higher education.
Yes
I would recommend Klipboard to a friend as you receive support from all round the business. I have also been given the opportunity to develop further in my career. We also have a programme at Klipboard to gain further career skills run by the Talent Development team which I feel I really benefited from.
My advice would be make sure to ask questions and listen to others around the business to gain knowledge on different areas.
