  • Ensuring timely payments of customer debts, assisting with customer queries and consulting with relevant departments to solve issues. I allocate the cash each morning. Escalating accounts when needed. Reporting on 90 day debts weekly to higher management.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt how to allocate cash. I have also learnt the importance of collecting the cash and the effect it can have on cash flow if not collected on time. I have developed my Excel skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoyed the programme as I developed a big understanding of how finance impacts a business. I enjoyed learning new skills which I apply to my job every day. I also enjoyed working along side what I was learning in my course.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme was very well structured. I attended college once a week and then worked the other days. I was given time to work and study when I needed, and had a clear path of what I was working towards. I also knew who to go to if I needed support.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer gave me lots of support throughout my programme. My employer arranged for extra assistance from my colleagues who have also studied the same course.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider offered me support when working towards my qualifications. I understood who I needed to contact when I needed help in different areas of my qualifications. My training provider was able to offer me extra practise questions in areas I was struggling with.

  • My qualification gives me a better understanding on my role and I am now able to apply my skills learnt in my qualification to my role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We have many extra-curricular events that are held at my work. For example, we often have social activities, like coffee mornings and celebrating worldwide events. I have also had the opportunity to attend college career days to support students moving to higher education.

  • I would recommend Klipboard to a friend as you receive support from all round the business. I have also been given the opportunity to develop further in my career. We also have a programme at Klipboard to gain further career skills run by the Talent Development team which I feel I really benefited from.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Klipboard?
  • My advice would be make sure to ask questions and listen to others around the business to gain knowledge on different areas.
