  • My role includes communicating with clients and advising them on their insurances placed with us, it also involves meeting and communicating with insurers to place the insurance and search for quotations.

  • I have developed my knowledge within insurance massively and created good internal/ external work relationships in the process.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the work aspect of the programme a lot and felt I received a great level of support throughout. However, I found the studying aspect of the apprenticeship was stressful.

  • Our early careers team was well structured and easily accessible if we ever needed help.

  • I receive a very good level of support from my managers and the early careers team at Aon.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I feel Davies could have supported more at certain points of the programme as myself and other apprentices often felt stressed by the level of studying required on top of our full-time jobs. Furthermore, I often felt that I struggled to feel comfortable communicating these issues with Davies.

  • The exams I completed throughout my apprenticeship helped me develop my knowledge in insurance and therefore helped me to understand my role better.

  • I occasionally attend social events with work.
