As a Product Owner, I prioritise business needs, manage the product backlog, and ensure the team delivers value. I translate goals into actionable tasks, align stakeholders, and make key decisions to guide development. Daily, I collaborate with developers, analysts, and users to refine features, resolve blockers, and drive product success
During the Multiverse Data Fellowship programme, I developed and strengthened a range of technical and analytical skills. I learnt how to clean, analyse, and visualise data using tools like Python, Pandas, and SQL. I became confident in using Excel for data manipulation and creating dashboards in Power BI. I also improved my ability to interpret data insights to support business decisions. Beyond technical skills, I developed stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and storytelling skills, helping me present findings effectively. The programme also enhanced my understanding of data ethics and best practices, preparing me to apply these skills confidently in a professional setting.
I enjoyed applying real-world data to solve business problems and seeing the impact of my work. Learning new tools and techniques was rewarding, and I appreciated collaborating with peers. The programme boosted my confidence, especially in presenting insights clearly, and helped me grow both technically and professionally.
The programme was well-structured, balancing technical learning with practical application. Each module built on the last, making complex topics easier to grasp. Regular coaching sessions, project work, and peer collaboration reinforced learning. The clear roadmap and supportive environment helped me stay on track and apply skills confidently in my role.
My employer supported me by providing time for learning, access to relevant data, and opportunities to apply new skills in real projects. Managers encouraged my development, gave feedback on assignments, and recognised my progress. Their support created a positive learning environment and helped me integrate training into my day-to-day role
Multiverse provided strong support throughout the programme. My coach offered personalised guidance, regular check-ins, and constructive feedback. The online resources, workshops, and peer community were invaluable for learning and growth. Whenever I faced challenges, I felt supported and encouraged, making the journey engaging, manageable, and tailored to my development.
The qualification has significantly improved my performance in my role. It equipped me with practical data skills and a structured approach to problem-solving. I now work more confidently with data, draw clearer insights, and make informed decisions. The training aligned well with real business needs, making my contributions more impactful.
Yes, there are several extra-curricular activities to get involved in at work. We have active belonging networks such as Enable, Gender, and Pride, which promote inclusivity and provide safe spaces for colleagues to connect and support each other. These networks host events, talks, and campaigns throughout the year. Employees are also encouraged to use one volunteering day annually to give back to causes they care about. Additionally, there are social events within divisions that help build a strong sense of community and collaboration across teams, making it a welcoming and engaging place to work.
